Winding machine for manually winding electric guitar pickups. Suitable for winding inductors.
The machine allows you to adjust the wire tension and dampens excess forces during winding. The wire laying is controlled by the operator by rotating the handle of the worm mechanism, which moves the wire layer.
To prevent the coil from unwinding, a magnetic brake on neodymium magnets is used.
I designed all the printed parts of the machine in Compass 3D and posted them here in stl format. I took the stepper motor driver holder from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3785335
