Instead of gluing the plastic window to my enclosure, I designed this snap fit frame where you can use a thin plastic film such as 0.2mm. Mounting Instructions: Use the cutting guide to cut the plastic in the format that best fits the frame, then you just need to fit all the pieces like a sandwich. Make sure to have all clamps connected. Last, you just need to fit the model into the window cut of the enclosure. IMPORTANT: When cutting the plastic using the guide, make sure to do some small cuts inside the small holes (no need for cutting a perfect hole, just a single cut). This will ensure a better fit and also a better stretch of the plastic. This was first designed to be used on this AMS filament enclosure (windowed version) LINK This window can be used on any project that demands a window of 50x32mm with a wall of up to 1.5mm.
