I needed a way to pass power cables through a window screen for Google Nest Cameras. I have no idea if all window screens have the same spacing but mine are spaced at 1.5mm. After installing 4 heatset inserts, carefully align the pins through the screen and press together. Then push something through the screw holes like an awl, small screwdriver, or hex key. Install 4 screws then use a similar tool to break out the cable pass through. Clearly this is not reversable so be sure this is the right option for you; it works great for me! Parts:4 x 4x6 mm heatset inserts - https://amzn.to/4p6wxDs4 x 4x12 mm screws - https://amzn.to/4840Yn2If you don't already have a heatset tool - https://amzn.to/4nW4Mwg An easy way to check screen spacing is to set calipers to 15mm and set it aligned to the screen. Take a picture and zoom in to count how many screen spaces there are. Spoiler, if it's 10 then the spacing is 1.5mm. ;)
