Windshield wiper floor squeegee

I throw away a lot of windshield wipers just because they get small nicks in the blade leading to streaks on the windshield. I started to think just because they leave streaks on a windows doesn't necessarily make them useless. Now I attach them to a broom handle and give them a second life squeegeeing out the floor of my travel trailer when I am done cleaning it. I'm planning on making another one to keep in my garage to get the puddles out after it rains and the cars drip.

To be honest I have been thinking about building this for a while but It wasn't until the Lynk & Co Car Gadget Challenge that pushed me to do it. I made a bunch of handheld ones with 14 inch wipers on them and passed them out at my work. We now use them to clear the mirrors on the busses and semitrucks in the lot before we move them
