Winter Wondertown

Wintery scene on a mountain with a train, buildings and trees plus lots of other stuff. Idea for this started from my friend Stuwaha, she provided me with a sketch (plus a lot of invaluable feedback during the creation process) and I build from that. It has lots of traditional elements for such scenes but I also wanted to steer a bit away from most Christmas themes (the star is a compromise) making this more just a winter scene than a Christmas town, fitting for everyone! I printed mine from Taulman T-Glase that had a nice transparent effect, and finished by simply spraying very little matte white paint for a slight snow effect. Inside I simply fitted some "fairy lights" that are sold just about everywhere cheaply, there's one building that requires some trickery to wire, but all buildings have a channel for wires underneath.
