Wire Fairing

Fairing covers that snap over top of music wire (landing gear, etc) on model aircraft. 1/8" and 5/32" diameter wire sizes. I suggest a short test print for your application, as modelled these to "snap" on the wire and is held by friction, you could scale up or down slightly to get the desired fit. too tight and the piece may crack when snapping on, too loose and it will move/rotate. I printed mine in sections, on end and just slid them together (scale in Z direction to get desired length). I printed mine in PETG, not sure if PLA would work. I have not field tested this in regards to heat, etc., one could also print with a slightly looser fit and silicone in place.
