I bought wireless dog bell and because of push button was magnetic my dog was having hard time to push it. The reason was the button itself is coil base with magnet that way itself generates power. yes that's a good thing but the issue was too hard for most dogs to press. Since I am ee I decided to fix the issue by adding 2 aa batterys that it should last about 2 years. The device draws about 10ma each push and it takes about 1 second. I am assuming the dog will push the button 5 times per day. AA battery current is about 2000ma and calculating based on the load I ended up estimated 100.000 push. The battery will last 140 hours continues load. 100.000/5=20.000 days. I have to recalculate to make sure I am not mistaken.

Installation is very simple.

1. remove the coil. see one if picture shows the coil.
2. connect any of battery terminal to one side of switch and the other side connect one of terminal on pcb and the other side of wire connect to remaining battery terminal.
