This model shown is equipped for 2.4 GHz wireless operation and includes a tiny USB receiver chip. Depending on how new the iPad is, a USB-A/Lightning adapter or USB-A/USB-C adapter is needed. The wireless connection is handled entirely by the external device, so once it's plugged in, no connection change on the iPad should be necessary.

This remix accommodates a second wireless keypad model that is commonly available for purchase. The design is the same as the original except for the substitution of 2 .stl files that have been changed to fit this keypad: pocket_type_2.stl and wakezero-key_type2_supports.stl.
