Wise Owl

A Wise Owl that holds the wisdom of the world in his insides, or an Alexa Echo Dot V2 anyway. There is also a space in his head for a Wemos D1 mini with RGB shield to add a night light feature.

You can run the USB cable through the body to keep it tidy. I got a micro USB double ended cable from Amazon to power the Dot and the Wemos from one connection.

I printed mine in Neutral PETG from Real filament. So the lights glow through.

Model is split into 3 parts to fit on my printer and make it not a 14 hr print. I glued the body to the Feet and the head just sits on to give access to the Dot. The back cover isn't great I have a sliver of support wedged in to hold it. I might re design to improve it.

The one pictured was a present for my Mum, she loves Owls. The design has evolved since this as I didn't realise the sound came out the bottom and had to drill holes. The model now has proper sound exits.
