If you have wood blinds in your house, you probably have broken plugs from the underside of the bottom base slat. The supplied plugs are poorly designed and made of a cheep plastic that ends up cracking and breaking and then falls out of the base. These plugs hold the strings that secure the slats to the thick base slat. They keep the strings in the correct place and centered in the base. My design is prioritized to provide space for the string and the little crimp, provide friction to hold in the 1/2" hole, and will flex when inserted in the hole. Assuming you print with PLA, ABS or even TPU, these plugs should provide an ideal replacement for the garbage plugs that came with the blinds. After all, who wants to replace a poor design failed part with the same part?
