Woodworking Sled Hold down 10-24 Threaded Insert

This a hold down for a woodworking sled. The dovetail piece is compatible with a dovetail formed with a Matchfit dovetail bit. The threads in the knob are provided by a press fit 10/24 threaded insert.The threads on the dovetail piece are very tight, this is on purpose. Attaching a threaded rod to the dovetail piece can be difficult. I typically clamp the rod near the bottom with Vice Grips then screw the dovetail piece on.
