OverviewThis is my first attempt at designing and printing the illusion of a woven basket by using alternating and overlapping patterned sweeps in two directions. I was pretty conservative with this design, as can be seen from the solid endplates and relatively thick weave strips. It was a good starting point to test the limits of my printer, especially with the amount of overhangs and bridging involved. In the future, I'll try more complex designs that push the limits of my printer, while hopefully still avoiding supports.I currently store some reusable dishcloths in my basket but it would also work great for small books, napkins, or any other items that fit. The wide base will prevent it from falling over, even if the items you're storing far exceed the bin height.PrintingNo supports necessary for this print! I printed using Hatchbox Wood PLA on the Prusa i3 MK3 and couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend using wood PLA to make it appear even more realist
