A two‑part extrusion system designed for producing Wreath cake (Kransekage) quickly, consistently, and with identical form every time. Both components are made from 3D‑printed, food‑safe plastic.
1) Outer Tube (Extrusion Barrel)
The outer tube is 3D‑printed in durable, food‑safe plastic such as PETG or PLA+.
Its internal geometry is smooth enough for the dough to move through freely without any lubrication.
At the front, the tube ends in a slight bulge — a deliberate constriction that compresses the dough as it exits. This final shaping zone ensures the mass is compacted evenly, resulting in a smooth, homogeneous surface on the extruded strand.
The fixed‑diameter opening defines the exact thickness of the dough, guaranteeing consistent results. Wall thickness and structural design prevent flexing under pressure, ensuring stable, repeatable extrusion.
2) Plunger (Straight Piston)
The plunger is completely straight and printed to fit precisely inside the tube (0,2mm gab).
