This accessory base is designed to work in conjunction with the Work Sharp Precision Adjust Compact Base, enhancing stability and support during the sharpening of larger or more flexible blades. While the base unit improves performance for smaller knives, it can still allow minor blade rocking or flexing when used with longer kitchen knives. This add-on addresses that limitation by introducing an adjustable grid-based support system that helps maintain consistent sharpening angles across the full length of the blade.The accessory base nests securely into the recessed compartment at the front of the existing base unit and features a grid array of vertical posts. These posts serve as connection points for three interchangeable support types, each featu
