WS2812B

This is a 3D model of the WS2812B "NeoPixel" indexable 5050 RGB LED from Adafruit. You can view the product page at Adafruit here (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1655).

I've begun dabbling in PCB design and needed to create a schematic and footprint for this little component so I could add it to my EDA software. As part of the PCB footprint, my EDA software allows me to attach a 3D model so the PCB can be rendered in 3D. Pretty nifty feature so I created this model to provide that.

I've included the original AutoDesk Inventor part file, the exported STL file and the final WRL file that I generated and modified from the STL to add to my EDA software (I added colors which were wiped out in the STL export).

I've attached a sample PCB design image showing the results in the EDA software.

This model is more intended for 3D modeling than 3D printing - as a tool to design other objects that may interact with the LED or for use in other software like EDA tools.
