Silicone socks are disposable. Buying them is good option. Making them is also a good option. I prefer to make them on demand as shipping is a bummer. I can make one and have it ready in a few hours where as I would have to wait a few days to weeks for it to ship. I noticed no one made a mold for the X1/P1P silicone sock so I designed one. This model will allow one to make 4 X1/P1P hotend socks at a time. This mold was designed using https://grabcad.com/library/complete-hotend-assembly-bambu-lab-x1c-steel-nozzle-1 to reference the silicone sock. Additional materials: silicone, 8 #4x1/2" wood screws Optional: syringe w/ catheter tip, pigment, release agent This has been designed to cast using a syringe or gravity. The syringe is the preferred method. I suggest using a platinum silicone that is Shore 10A or harder. I have been using Dragon Skin 10NV. Process: Print the parts. I have included the 3mf files I used to print the mold. I have made dedicated mold filament and print profiles to
