I made the small X3D printer cause I needed a small solution that could travel with me.
Because of how the bed leans from weight and using one belt or lead screw I needed a better way of doing leveling so I made this mount in order to attach a proximity sensor. I designed this originally for a 12mm sensor but can adapt to any size.
One negative thing I've noticed with mounting in the rear, reduces your Y travel (you can hit the sensor into the bed guide rails.
Probably later on I'll think up another way to mount the sensor, but for now this will work.
You will have to rotate the part before slicing in order to use less (or none) supports.
