To add stability, X5S frame was assembled onto a 26mm thick square of laminated both sides counter top type material. It's good dimensional stability and very flat surface make a great foundation to build on.
I wanted to attach the X5S to this so I made 4 of these corner angles which help to square up the frame as well as attach machine to slab. The angle is held to frame using 4 "T" nuts each. The angle has a raised lip on one side that goes against the wider 40mm side of frame upright. This serves as a stop to square the 40mm wide upright against.
Note: 4 needed so mirror attached .stl file to make 2 of the angles.
Printed with CR-10S in PLA with .2 layer height, 5 perimeters, 5 top/bottom layers, 215 deg, 60 deg bed temp and I like to print on mirror. Next prints I may just go to higher infill like maybe even 100% since part isn't that big anyway. I did notice a minor bit of compression into angle of "T" nut 4mm screw head, so definitely use washer under head and or print with
