If you have spare XBOX 360 PSU, then you have a nice and powerful powersupply! The only thing you need, is to attach some cables, sockets and switches. If you don't want to drill too much in original enclosure, feel free to use my project to install all things you need.
This enclosure is still WIP, because of things TO DO:
- drill some holes to improve cooling on the bottom of main box
- create volt/amp meter-less top plate
- create better description for project (additional parts, how-to, etc.)
Parts I've used:
- power sockets 2pcs
- volt/amp meter
- 4 screws to mount box to original PSU enclosure
- 4 screws to mount top plate to box
- some wires
Originally, it was designed to use it for powering my ham radio equipment, but OFC it can be used for powering anything you want @ 12V ~18A (the XBOX PSU version I used is DPSN-186CB-1A). Additionally, you can find around web many instructions for changing voltage output to something around 13-15V.
