The XL and Giant Eggs have a more relaxed clip so that the tops are more easily removed without having to squeeze them. Good bed adhesion is very important for the tops of the eggs. Some filaments with poor bed adhesion will benefit from a small internal brim. I generally avoid external brims to keep the outer surface as smooth as possible.
