XP Deus 2 Flexible Remote Case

This case will securely attach the remote control to the Deus shaft and protect it from dirt, debris and scratches. The case consists of a rigid back plate and mounting stub with a TPU cover and optional shield. Detector settings can be easily changed by pressing on the flexible cover while keeping the remote control safe and clean.

Print the cover and shield with solid walls using TPU 95A. The back plate and mounting stub can be printed from any rigid material such as PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.

M2 studs are glued into the cover allowing it to be attached to the back plate with M2 thumb nuts. Studs can be made by cutting the heads off M2 x 12 mm screws. The holes in the cover for the studs are 5mm deep and difficult to print. Use a 2mm drill bit to open them up prior to inserting the studs.

The cover has a hole on the upper left side for the antenna wire.
