XT60 Weatherproof Threaded Outlet / Plug

I was in need of an outside 12v hookup, that could provide ample amperage (haha) for 12v appliances. I don't like how bulky cigarette adapters are, and everything I use in my fleet is custom made to accept XT60 connection. Another design criteria I had was weatherproofing it as much as possible. Room was not sufficient for a threaded cover, so a press fit cover was implemented.

Hole Diameter: 1 1/8" (CAD designed with 28mm outside diameter)

Max Substrate Depth 1" (Mine was 3/4" Plywood)

You may need to experiment with your horizontal expansion to get the plug/cover to fit tight.

I also included a design with no plug, so it can be flush mounted where weatherproofing is not needed.
