EDIT: Shortened the side supports on all three to allow for proper fit of plugs manufactured by companies different than what I use. 03-04-22
Files for the XT30, XT60 and XT90 are now here….
I got tired of fighting to keep the plug and wires in place while soldering everything together so I created this little holder to help.
When I do my soldering I always keep the male and female together in case things get a bit hot. That way the pins always stay in place and don't shift. The plug just slides into the box and either or end will fit in nicely. You can temporarily tape your mount and battery in place to prevent movement and once don't simply peel the tape off and remove your assembled part.
I printed it with generic PLA @ 15% infill with support because of the box. I'm sure it isn't necessary but the extra time and filament was minimal.
( I am aware the red wire in one pic is matched to the negative terminal. The pic is there simply as a reference )
NOTE: The XT-6
