A balanced XY Flexure stage.
I don't fully remember the reason for this design. Something was going to mount on the center, traveling stage and extend through the small hole in one of the flexures providing fine resolution, backlash free XY translation.
The design was driven by four ball screws mounted around the periphery, allowing XY and a small amount of theta rotation.
Composed of multiple, flat flexures that can be printed and then assembled together.
The design is roughly based on this paper:
