he Unicorn Winder Redux (UWR) is the third iteration of the unicorn Winder. The first twoversions are available on Thingiverse. Version one: Unicorn Level Winder (Beta) and Version two: Unicorn Winder - Motorized1. UWR is smaller, has multiple different height grooved spindles and cone holders that support different height cones. The UWR can wind Royal Cone (4 Inch/100 mm), cardboard (6.5 Inch/170mm) and Silver Reed (6.5 Inch/170mm) cones. The height noted on the spindle files indicated the width of the yarn windings and not the total height of the yarn cone. For example, a Royal style cone is approximately 100mm high but the suggested grooved spindle is 16 - shaft 90mm cone.stl.The UWR has a TPU printed pad for the base and a cone holder that has TPU printed fins.
