Yet Another Dust Coupling (2.5" Parametric)

Shop vac adapter for assorted tools (tested on DeWalt). Requires 6mm x 3mm magnets, 16 per coupling. How many magnets you need depends on how many couplings you plan to make. Magnets can be easily press fit with channel lock pliers. Optimized for ease of use and minimal filament. You can alternate magnet polarity but I've had best results with (carefully) using a single polarity for hose couplings and its opposite for tool couplings. Includes a “sheer guard” to prevent accidental disconnection by sheer forces. Hose couplings are in two parts so they can freely rotate for untwisting hoses. Supports inside magnet holes (optional) are fairly easy remove with your fingernail / poking something through. Router fence coupling requires supports.
