The Windcleaver sword from Zelda videogames. It was modeled using reference images from the Breath of the wild version's of the sword used by Yiga Blademasters. It is approximately 1 meter long, once assembled.
A 1" wide red ribbon elastic (see below) was used to cover the hilt. Cut the elastic and pinch the middle to create the diamond shape. Use superglue to maintain shape. Dispose the strips around the hilt with a few milimeters of overlap.
The hilt in the picture was covered with https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B094FXF5M6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note** The sword in the picture was printed with a dual core Ultimaker S5 in order to avoid painting. If you have a single core printer, use the files prefixed by sc_. and paint the inside of the blade white. If you have a dual core printer, use the files pefixed by dc_.
Thanks to 12Monkeys for help with the blade design.
