This thingy is a very basic top plate for my YiHUA 862BD+ hot air soldering station.
It provides room for 6 hot air nozzles, 15 soldering tips, a spool of filament, a can of soldering flux, various diameters for tools (I store the SMD chip desoldering fork and the plastic sticks from q-tips, which I use to apply the flux) and a box to keep stuff like loose SMD components.
The handle becomes kind of useless in this configuration, but this is intentional as I have a soldering station for mobile use. One could probably design a raised plastic handle which can utilize the existing handle screws, but I have no use for such thing.
It probably won´t fit on other models unless you just use the handle mounts as fixation points. From what I saw other YiHUA soldering stations have no top screws, which I utilized to secure the plate on top of the station.
However, I included the part as it is right now, so you can adapt it to your needs using the spread sheet.
The plan is to add
