Z-5500 Control Pod Button Replacement

The power button for a Z-5500 control pod relies on a flexible plastic piece. The movement is small but like most plastics it can degrade and eventually snap as shown in the first photo.

My personal Z-5500s are from 2006 in 2023; they're perfectly usable 17 years later except the stupid button! Can we fix it? Yes we can!
