**The controller:**

This tool enables users to adjust the Z axis using Thorlabs components and 3D printing. It is designed for implementation in microscopes, lasers, and other precision instruments.
This was made to work on any [optical breadboard](https://www.thorlabs.com/newgrouppage9.cfm?objectgroup_id=159), and to make it work you will need a [Thorlabs pole](https://www.thorlabs.com/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=DP8A), two 8mm rods, two 12 mm. magnets, the [Z-Axis controller](https://www.thorlabs.com/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=F25ES050), and in this case [XY controller](https://www.owis.eu/en/products/article/MT-60-15-X-MS).
