Z carriage for CNC

This is my revised design for a laser cut Z carriage. It is cut out of plywood and glued together so is quite strong but light. This version used LM8UU bearings but I may modify the X axis to use beefier rods. The main file is in openscad so easily customisable, I have included a couple of the 3d printed parts also.
Any tips appreciated if you find this useful for your projects.

Enable or disable the line after the parameters to either show the 3D model, an individual part or the laser layout.
