In piecing my new-to-me car together, I was missing the factory bracket. I took a few measurements with a ruler and got it in one try to my amazement. I'm using a T5 short shifter which places the assembly really high, so I *think my boot is flipped upside down to accommodate it. This left a big curled gap blasting me with warm air on my test drives. The bracket should work with the boot whether flipped or not.
Note: The factory holes are coarse thread M6 (generally short body/plastic panel screws) and I re-tapped them to M6x1.0 because I had a ready supply of those bolts in usable lengths for this bracket. The holes are 7mm in diameter for some wiggle room.
Update 6/30/25: I finally slapped the center console over this piece, and found that it was too thick to allow the shifter cover to snap into place. I've reduced the thickness from 15 mm to 7.5 mm.
I used:
PETG
25% infill
gyroid
~34 grams
