I wanted an auto bed leveling setup, and decided to create a simple io board to use the Z axis for this purpose..
I'd seen a few vids on YouTube about it, and reckoned it wasn't too hard..
Have a look at the attached image, and you'll see what I came up with..
Simple, neat, and small.. 24mm x 41mm.. I could have made it smaller, but then soldering 805 SMD parts becomes a chore!
Anyhoo, have a look, and let me know what you think..
And before anyone yells RIPOFF, I designed this without seeing any commercially available "kit".. Oh, yeah, and WAAAY cheaper too..
Bare boards are £7.50, and I can do the built board for £20, both including postage.
You'll need to source the probe and print a mount.
Probe is easily found on Ebay for about £5.. PNP NO, type LJC18A3-B-Z/BY.
I've included a Tee Nut mount for using on the V-Slot extrusions used with Creality printers..
