My Zero has nowhere to put the registration, but it does have a hole in the frame. I printed a plug that goes permanently on the right side, and a plug that slides out of the left side. It also hides the Allen key needed to get the seat off. It uses a standard LCD monitor mount thumbscrew.
The left side has the thumbscrew since it's pointed down sitting on the sidestand and less visible.
PRINT IN ABS. PLA warps in the heat.
You need a standard LCD monitor mount thumbscrew, and an M4x0.7 nut and washer to match. Use a little blue Loctite to keep things together under road vibration.
Print it with no bottom layer and 10% honeycomb fill. The left side does need supports.
You may need to tweak the outside diameter in the OpenSCAD file to match your bike. My left and right side holes were not the same diameter.
