For those who actively use the Zeromouse, these cases have been designed to protect your mouse from accidental drops while giving it a clean, purposeful home on your desk. To assemble the case, you’ll need to reuse the original foam from the mouse’s packaging. Remove the foam layers and trim them down so they fit inside the bottom half of the case. A simple and effective way to do this is to press each foam layer into the inner lip of the bottom case to mark where material needs to be removed, then cut away the excess from each corner until you achieve a snug fit. Visually, the case blends the familiar aesthetic of rugged utility boxes with an optional clear viewing window that frames the internals like a miniature display. The result is a durable exterior with a refined, showcase-style interior. My personal version was printed in matte black PLA, using slower outer wall speeds around the fillets for a cleaner finish.
