Stand for Epilog ZING 24 x 12 Laser Easily constructed from 3/4" Plywood and simple lumber. Castors allow easy repositioning. A storage shelf holds the cutting grid or a rotary device. It is very sturdy. There were no commercially available stands for the Zing so I designed and built my own. Maybe others have a similar need. The CAD model of the Zing laser is accurate on the exterior dimensions. Internal details are not included. This is a great example of an Inventor top-down design. All stand parts are parametrically modeled in "Zing_stand_developement_2.ipt". Then derived into individual part files. Note about the Zing laser: Maximum raster engraving speed is measured at about 960mm/s. Maximum vector cutting speed is measured at 28mm/s. Speed settings of 0-100% for both vector and raster are linear. For example 50% vector cutting speed is 14mm/s. 0-100% power settings may or may not be linear as I have no way to measure it. I don't know why Epliog chooses to keep this information a secret.
