ZOHD Dart XL Elevons (Aileron, Elevator)

After mine was taken down by a quad pilot, I needed new elevons. Didn't fancy paying $50 for the wing spare parts.

I created these elevons with the same shape as the original, but they are designed to be fitted slightly differently. They are attached to the wing using the 'Z Hinge' method as used on Ritewing builds. You can find how to do this on youtube.

I printed one with 10% infill for test fitment, it was a good shape but it was incredibly weak. I tried 100% infill which was too heavy but very strong. I found a good balance was 60% infill. I had to move the lipo forward a very small amount to correct the CG due to the extra tail weight. Plane flies perfectly and dead straight with these on.
