Calibration model for honing dimensional accuracy
The main reason I came up with this is to insure dimensional accuracy did not vary front to back or side to side. This has a number of measurement points (see schematic) and has 4th order rotational symmetry of a mirror symmetric pre-image, so measurements can be taken for different sections and orientations of the build area.
It also contains some bridging in the middle to insure that doesn't get lost in the day to day and holes for metric bolts M2-M5
