My ceiling mounted glass light diffuser decided to fall off and break. This is my replacement.
Printed at 100% It is as large an object as will fit on my Ender 3 printer. The original glass diffuser was probably 10 mm larger.
This is designed to be supported by a lamp pipe with a nut at the end. The included plastic nut does not have threads in the design. In a pinch you can twist this onto the pipe. Better to use a real nut if you have one.
I printed this with zero infill, top layer one line thick. I printed with a very large .48 layer height with a .8 nozzle. I noticed some problems with the STL/Print at the sides at the very top ... the model is very thin up there. Yet this resulted in a quite functional print.
WARNING. Check if you have incandescent or other hot bulbs. Very hot light bulbs can melt this.
