Sturmgewehr 44 - STG 44 Assault Rifle

This is the german STG44 or Sturmgewehr 44, for more info see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StG_44. This has always been an iconic weapon in WW2 games but I haven't been able to find a 3D model of it so I just done it myself. I have created the model with reference images and a PDF floating around on the internet of the part drawings. The final assembly is roughly 940x60x345mm and will consist of approx. 43 items that will be able to be printed on most bed sizes but will involve a few tricky prints. The model will have a removeable magazine and the bolt will be able to be cocked, it will also assemble almost like the actual weapon does but with a few tweeks and changes to make it printable This is only a static, non functioning 'boom-stick'. No part or the complete assembly is a functionally real weapon.
