auidio display and VU meter

I'm new to electronics so i'm sure the logic could be improved substantially. that's why i challenge you the one reading this to make your own version even smaller than mine.

the circuits are color coded as follows;
red, positive power
black, negative power
gold, ground
blue, transistor
green, other components

for the micro led display i made you will need;
7 led. (the ones i used were ultrabright green with a lumanance from 2.7v-3.0v
