This is a DTI holder for a quick-change tool post of a metal working lathe. I designed and made this to save using my (expensive) metal tool holders to house my DTI. I printed this with just 2 outer shells, and 15% infill in PLA which I found to be plenty strong enough so long as I remember not to go mad on the locking arm ;o) With that said, PLA does give a little with high clamping force so I’m not expecting it to break into a 1000 pieces any time soon.
