Pergo Hair Dryer Fan Only to 1in Threaded Pipe

I pulled the fan out of a hair dryer and found it to be a 12 volt motor.
I created this to mount the fan to 1" steel NPT threads.
Now I can use the blower without it running through any heating elements that were still on even when the dryer was on "cool" mode. I save a lot of electric now.

Test your hair dryer your using for your foundry, if it is warming up still with no heat applied, then it's using more power than it needs to.

The notch is to allow the wires to pass to the back.
