A 30x30 Aluminum-compatible hinge which allows the door to be completely removed.

I wanted a hinge which would allow me to open the door normally, but if i wanted greater access to the enclosure (in this case for a 3d printer) I could completely remove the door quickly and without having to remove the hinges.

It uses 8mm steel studding as a pivot-pin (about 40-45mm length is good), glued / epoxy-filled into the top part of the hinge.

There is a raised-slide on the back of the bracket-base which fits securely into the 30x30 extrusion (to stop the hinge from rotating) and leave you only needed one bolt to secure the hinge into the extrusion.

By making a notch in the door (to the length of the exposed part of the pivot pin), you can lift and remove the door (even with multiple hinges) without moving the hinge(s).

Could be scaled to work on other extrusion, adjusting the bolt and pivot pin size appropriately.
