360 Pod System

This is a low-cost versatile companion for any 360 camera. It uses a common selfie stick and a 3D printed base to create a unique low profile mount for the camera. Metal washers in the base provide ballast to steady the extended selfie stick.

The 10" collapsed position works great for capturing people around a table. The extended 39" height is great for taking pictures of scenes, rooms or areas.

I used Sketch-up to design the 2 pieces of the base. The parts are printed in ABS filament on my MakerBot 3D printer and then solvent welded together using Acetone.
