This is a holder for LED strip light on top of Ultimaker-type 3d printer with plywood/MDF case. May also fit CoreXY, H-Bot style of printers, and steel cases as well.
A LED strip extruded enclosure profile as on picture is required. It is cut into suitable pieces and LED strip is installed inside. Wires are put through the holder and then soldered to the strips. Excess length of a wire may be pushed inside the holder.
Holder has 8x13.3mm openings for profile. The profile fits tight and whole assembly may be tested well without screwing down to the printer case.
Printed quite easily without supports. Attached to the printer case with small 3mm diameter countersink-head screws.
