This is the pattern we use to dynamically level the build plate. (Rep 2X)
It seems to work much better than the paper method
It gives a true idea of how the extruder will deposit the print.

Pic 4: Difference in plate level once nuts loosened (had to lower Z-Axis limit switch almost 0.200")
