This is mechanism 4 in Henry T. Brown's book, 507 mechanical movements. Another way to send motion to a shaft at a right angle, but here the belt itself is crossed to help wrap it around the pulleys more effectively. The crossed belt increases the surface contact and grip #4: Original illustration from the book How to print: There are two print profiles - AMS print by object and No AMS Single color. If you do not want multicolor, use the No AMS profile. Printing: Your printer must be well calibrated and have good bed adhesion. If the printer does not have good bed adhesion, the rivets may fail to print. The tolerance is very small to keep the rivets in place, so if your printer is not accurate make sure to apply XY compensation.
