Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of a 75mm equipped M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The M4 Sherman was an iconic medium tank used throughout World War 2 by the Allies. The vehicle saw constant upgrades throughout the war, with armaments ranging from a low velocity 75mm cannon on the original versions, to the more powerful 76.2mm cannons found on later examples, with some versions even mounting 105mm Howitzers. This model represents the M4A3E2 breakthrough variant featuring the 75mm cannon. The M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman was a drastically up-armored version, featuring an additional 1.5" (38.1mm) of armor on the front and sides of the hull.
