Cloaked Turtle

In a shell far, on a wavy blue bay,Lived a small turtle named Torin, okay, maybe not okay. For Torin wore a dark blue cloak flowing wide,And a red coral blade that hummed at his side. “They laughed at my slowness! They scoffed at my pace!”He muttered and huffed with a frown on his face. “I’ll show them,” he said, with a swish and a swoosh,As his coral blade glimmered, whoooshity whoosh! He marched, well.... he swam, with dramatic flair,Through seaweed that waved like it just didn’t care. But when he arrived with his vengeance so grand,He saw all his friends with a cake in the sand. “Surprise!” they all shouted. “We waited all day!We knew you’d get here in your slow turtle way!” Torin just blinked. His blade gave a dim,Then flickered right off as he smiled back at them.
